Accurate but took a long time Review by giordana
Speed of Delivery Code Accuracy Customer Service The information given to me was perfect and accurate and I had tried another company before this for this phone on this network (Nokia C3 on Australia Vodafone) and they couldn't get the code, so well done.
The only frustrating thing was that it took a longer than other codes, but that was expected when they initially told me Nokias locked to Vodafone Australia would take this long. (Posted on 12/12/11) -
excellent results Review by Bill
Customer Service Speed of Delivery Code Accuracy I unlocked two Nokia C3 phones with no problem after talking to your help line and getting the IMEI number. I was having poblems getting the number because on your Home Page under Cell Phone Unlocking FAQ and How to Unlock a Cell Phone section there is a misprint that needs correcting. The code for an IMEI number is written #*06# but should be *#06#
It is upsetting when the first step in the process fails.
Thanks for your service. (Posted on 10/5/11) -

Awsome service Review by Toto
Code Accuracy Customer Service Speed of Delivery Code was accurate, and returned to me in a very reasonable period of time (about 18 hours after request) accounting for the fact that I requested the code at about 9:00 PM PDT.
one step of the instructions was not quite clear, so I emailed support for clarification. I received their reply within 5 minutes. Ten minutes later on I had my phone unlocked.
I should add that for this Nokia C3 handset with Rogers Wireless (Canada) service provider, I received a "Code Error" message. So I had to use the alternative steps after entering the unlock code; that is:
8 press ""+"" sign
9 press the 7 key
10 press the # key once
after this I received the message that my handset was unlocked.
The whole process worked well.
I would recommend the use of cellfservices to anyone that wishes to unlock their phone.

What is cell phone unlocking?
Wireless network carriers typically put a SIM restriction on your cell phone which prevents users from switching networks with their favorite phones. Cell phone unlocking removes the SIM lock attached to your phone and allows you to use your favorite cell phone or smart phone on your favorite networks. Cell phone unlocking also allows users to use international SIM cards when traveling, which reduces roaming charges to zero. Smart travelers use an unlocked cell phone, combined with an international prepaid SIM card, allowing them to virtually eliminate roaming fees. What's the difference between a SIM unlock code, Subsidy unlock code and an unlock code?
There is absolutely no difference between a SIM unlock code, Subsidy unlock code and a plain old unlock code. They are unique numeric codes between 8 - 16 digits which are entered into your cell phone to remove the carrier restriction. What is a SIM card?
|
A SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card stores unique information on a 15 mm x 12 mm x 0.76mm chip. It will store information such as your phone number, the network carrier the SIM belongs to and can have advanced features such as storing contacts. SIM cards are used on all GSM networks and some HSPA networks such as Telus or Bell Mobility in Canada. Think of a SIM card as your cell phone's passport. |
Can my cell phone be unlocked?
|
If your cell phone has a SIM card slot, it can be unlocked. You can find your SIM card slot by removing the battery of your phone and looking for something similar to the image on your left. Also, if it is listed on our website, we have tested and unlocked this device before. |
