How to unlock BlackBerry Torch 9800 with an unlock code

The BlackBerry Torch 9800 was first released to AT&T and then to a whole plethora of wireless carriers all around the world. The unlocking procedure to remove the SIM lock attached to your BlackBerry Torch 9800 is a pretty straight forward one. All you need to do is follow our video tutorial or the simple written instructions below to unlock BlackBerry Torch 9800.
First, insert a SIM card into the phone. If you do not have a SIM card on you, then you can try the following steps to unlock your BlackBerry Torch. The second step would be to navigate to the options menu, and then to the device menu. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and you will see advanced system settings. Select advanced system settings and then SIM card. This is the trickiest part of the whole routine, but it’s not very difficult at all. Slide your keyboard down and type in the letters “MEPD”. You won’t actually see those letters appearing, but you will see a new menu called the Personalization menu appear. Now you need to type in “MEP2”. This will bring up a new screen that says “Enter Network MEP Code (# Left)”. The number represents the number of tries you have left before the phone becomes permanently locked to the original network carrier. As long as it is greater than 0 left, our BlackBerry Torch 9800 unlock code will work for you! Enter in the code you purchase from our unlocking store and press enter. You will receive a Code Accepted message and you’ll be ready to go with a newly unlocked BlackBerry Torch 9800!
